Professional Summary
Leah practiced exclusively as a family lawyer at a mid-sized Ontario firm prior to joining Kirk Montoute Dawson LLP. Leah helped clients resolve their family law disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution and litigation.
Leah is passionate about helping her clients settle their family law issues in a cost-effective and fair manner. She believes strongly in a child-centred approach and that Alternative Dispute Resolution is the best route for many clients. However, Leah will also represent her clients in Court when it is necessary.
Leah graduated from the University of Windsor and Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2021 with both Canadian and American law degrees. During law school, Leah spent a summer working with a child protection lawyer in Michigan and another semester working in family law at a legal aid clinic in Detroit. After graduating, Leah articled with a national charitable association working on public interest intervention files.
