Gary has been practicing law for more than 25 years. In addition to practicing in the areas of Mediation/Arbitration, Wills & Estates and Family Law, Gary is also an experienced litigator. He has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta. Gary’s reported decisions include:
Gary also has extensive training as a Mediator and Arbitrator and has participated in 300+ mediation, arbitration and Judicial Dispute Resolution hearings, both as counsel and as Mediator/Arbitrator.

Gary is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the ADR Institute of Alberta. Gary is an active member of the Family Law and Estates & Trusts Sections of the Alberta Bar Association.
Volunteer Work
Gary's volunteer work includes conducting seminars on estate planning sponsored by The Calgary Public Library and Calgary Legal Guidance. He was a past instructor in the Negotiation segment of the CPLED course for articling students. Gary was a featured speaker at the Family, Wills & Trusts and Civil Litigation Sections of the Alberta Bar Association, and has been a presenter for the Legal Education Society of Alberta.
